Villa Baan Panwa

Villa Baan Panwa is a privately owned residence set within Sri Panwa, a five-star resort on the Cape Panwa headland in the south-east of Phuket, about 20 minutes' drive from Phuket Town. Guests have the privacy of their own villa together with full access to the resort's facilities, including its restaurants and bars, spa, fitness centre, tennis courts and private beach.

There are four large, air-conditioned bedrooms – three with double beds and one twin room – each with its own bathroom and a balcony with sea views. The villa sleeps up to eight (rates cover six guests, with a small nightly charge for a seventh or eighth), and baby cots and extra bedding can be arranged on request. The bathrooms include twin basins and a spacious bath with a separate shower.

The heart of the house is a large open-plan, air-conditioned lounge, dining room and kitchen, with uninterrupted sea views from most of the seating. Meals can be served indoors or out on the balcony overlooking the pool and the sea, and an upstairs outdoor dining table takes in the views over Cape Panwa.

Outside, the infinity-edge pool looks out across Cape Panwa Beach and is lined with sun loungers. Beside it, a shaded family area with plenty of seating, a pool table and a table football table keeps everyone entertained, even when it rains. Bicycles are provided for getting around the resort, and the beach is a short walk away.

The villa is fully staffed. A villa manager looks after guests from arrival, arranging airport transfers, transport, restaurant recommendations, boat trips, diving and other excursions, while a private chef cooks Thai and Western dishes in the villa kitchen and can cater for any dietary requirement. A room maid keeps the house in order, and a complimentary minivan transfer is provided on arrival and departure.
