Villa Maria sits in a private development of just three villas, nestled between a rubber plantation and a coconut grove in the south of Phuket, about three minutes' drive or 25 minutes' walk from Nai Harn Beach. With around 600 sqm under roof, it is a roomy hideaway for large groups or two or three families.
The interiors mix contemporary furniture with Chinese antiques, Asian artworks and Thai silks. The master suite has a super-king four-poster bed beneath a vaulted hardwood ceiling, a walk-in dressing room and a large en-suite with oval bath, shower and twin basins. Upstairs there are two further en-suite bedrooms – one queen and one twin – together with a cloakroom, a study and a formal lounge opening onto a balcony above the pool terrace and coconut-palm treetops.
Half of the ground floor is given over to the main living area, with a 3-metre dining table, three large leather sofas and a home theatre system. The rest of the ground floor forms a semi-self-contained apartment, with its own kitchenette, breakfast bar, living area and TV, a second master bedroom with king-size bed and a twin room – both en-suite and opening straight onto the pool terrace.
All five bedrooms have private bathrooms, and four pull-out single beds (two in each twin room) mean the villa can sleep up to 14. Maid's accommodation, a laundry room and a poolside shower complete the house.
Outside, the walled garden is safe for children, and the kidney-shaped pool with integral Jacuzzi comes with a detachable child safety fence. The sala, with a kitchenette and a dining table for 12, is ideal for al fresco meals and barbecues.

- Only the number of guests confirmed in the booking may stay overnight, sleeping in bedrooms only – not on sofas. Unregistered overnight guests are charged 50 USD per person per night.
- No smoking inside the villas; ashtrays are provided for outdoor use. Professional cleaning after indoor smoking is deducted from the security deposit.
- No pets.
- No fireworks, firecrackers or incendiary devices anywhere on the estate – breaches result in loss of deposit and eviction.
- No glass or china on the pool deck; use the melamine and plastic tableware provided.
Cancellation policy
- More than 90 days before arrival: deposit refunded in full.
- 45–89 days before arrival: 20% of the total rental is non-refundable.
- 30–44 days before arrival: 50% of the total rental is non-refundable.
- 29 days or fewer before arrival: 100% of the total rental is non-refundable.
